Huntington Congregational Church

Next week will be an Outdoor Worship.  We will gather in the parking lot near the kitchen door.  Please bring a chair and wear a funny T-shirt! In case of rain, we will be in the Sanctuary.  We will be observing Memorial Day, so please send me names of veterans who have gone on to eternity to share.

Community Tag Sale: Women’s Fellowship will again be holding our annual tag sale on June 7 (rain date June 14). You are welcome to have your own space or donate items to the church table. You may drop off items for the church table in Reuman House. Please consider us as you do any spring clean-out!

We would like to hear from graduates of high school, vocational school, and colleges (both under-graduate and graduate). Grads will be recognized at the service on June 15^th. We will need the names for the Graduate Sunday bulletin and the summer issue of The Belfry. Please e-mail the office at hcc@snet.net or call 203.929.1223 ASAP if you are/or know of a graduate from our church. Also, HCCUCC is offering church members higher education scholarships for those who are continuing their education in the fall (not restricted to high school seniors). Please e-mail the church office for an application form to be sent to you. Completed applications are due into the office by Sunday, June 1^st. Scholarships will be handed out on Graduate Sunday, June 15^th.

Backpack are needed for Women’s Fellowship’s Back-to-School drive for our Shelton schools. Other wish list items: plastic water bottles, 3 subject notebooks, plastic two pocket folders, pencils.
