Huntington Congregational Church

United Church of Christ

This Week October 24, 2023

Dear Folks,

I hope you are well and enjoying the day.  Continued prayers for peace in our world.

This coming Sunday, October 29, is the Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost.  We will be observing All Saints’ Day.  The scripture is Matthew 22:34-40.  The sermon is “What we Remember”.  During the week, please think about the saints in your life who have gone to be with God and one or two words that sum up what makes them saints.  We will have time to share on Sunday during the sermon.  Those who will be joining us on-line, if you would like to drop me a note with your names and words, I will be happy to share them.

The 300th Anniversary Committee will be meeting after worship this Sunday in the library.  Even if you have not come before, you are welcome!

My 2023 Sabbatical Review is on Sunday, November 5, 6:30 P.M., in Fellowship Hall. Refreshments will be served.

Let us pray.  Gracious God, you love us more than we can possibly imagine. May that sense of love fill our hearts, not just for ourselves, but for all people, all creation.  Amen.
