Valley Refugee Resettlement Project Organizing for Another Family
Dear Folks,
As you know, the Valley Refugee Resettlement Project, one of our important outreach programs, settled a Syrian Family of 6. That family is now on their own, thanks to the generosity and work of many people from HCCUCC and across the Valley.
So, it’s time to do it again! The VRRP will be meeting on Sunday, June 3, 4 P.M., at the Derby Neck Library and via ZOOM. If you have been involved in the past, please continue! If you have not, please consider joining this worthwhile adventure.
Volunteers are required to take online training sessions. Tasks would include (but not limited to) teaching English as a second language, driving to appointments, setting up housing, getting supplies, and teaching driving skills.
