This Week September 10, 2024

Dear Folks,

Enjoying another lovely day!

Please take a moment tomorrow to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and those left behind.

My Prayer Day is this Thursday, September 12. If you have any joys or concerns you would like me to lift up, please let me know.

This Sunday, September 15, is the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost. The scripture is Mark 8:27-38. The sermon is “Jesus,Who?”. The service will be livestreamed on Facebook and available for later viewing on Facebook and YouTube.

Wednesday Evening Bible Survey resumes September 18th and runs through October 16th, 7 P.M., via ZOOM. The link will be sent out with the “This Week” email. No booklet? Please see Rev. Lucille.

VRRP is working to settle a refugee family of four in our Valley. Please note the donation list in the Alcove. Please help however you can. For more info, contact Bob Margolies.

Women’s Fellowship is collecting monetary donations for Church World Service Clean up buckets. Checks may be made out to HCC with “Buckets” on the memo line. You can drop your donation in the bucket on Sundays or you can use the on-line option on our website. The need now is urgent.

Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
